As my family ties are strong with the U.S.A., we decided to write the good Sheriff and express our heart felt gratitude for his stance on the current situation. I wasn't expecting a reply as I'm sure thousands of emails were received expressing their thanks for the Sheriff voicing up as a true American should, and I certainly wasn't expecting to receive the beautifully written and honest response that came.
